An 8.5m Z Bow or Z-cat was designed and built for Inverloch Charters for use in the Andersons Inlet and crossing the bar out in to large swells of Bass Straight. Often working in large swells this vessel is cable of a comfortable cruising speeds and ride in 4m swells with speeds between 28 and 30 knots.
Fitted with a centre wheel house, with over canopy and ample storage and seating for the required pasengers and crew members.
The Z Bow features very sharp bow entry, with full topsides above the chine. This allows the vessel to get up to plane with greater ease, and spear through rough conditions.
Powered by twin outboard motors @225hp each the vessel can reach top speed up to 50 knots.
