12m Z Bow – Pina Colada

12m Z Bow Catamaran Pina Colada, Class 1C 50 passengers plus 4 crew.

Pina Colada is a quad rig version with a 5.5m beam, fitted with 4 X 325HP Suzuki outboards enables Pina Colada to achieve a top speed of 40 knots whilst comfortable cruising at 20-25 knots and only using 120-160 lph.  The Suzukis are fitted with duo prop’s which gives the vessel excellent thrust and manoeuvrability and unlike a lot of catamarans, this vessel will turn flat under power.

The vessel has top deck access for passengers with seating and excellent visibility from the wheelhouse.  Foredeck access is via a glass sliding door situated in the forward bulkhead, which is fitted with sliding windows for excellent airflow throughout the vessel.  Alumarine’s custom poly pipe fendering system at deck level runs around the motors and at bulwarks level.

Internally, the vessel has an excellent layout, with ample seating on the lower and upper decks to offer passengers unforgettable views.  Pina Colada features a kiosk and toilet, fitted out with composite GRP panels.  Pina Colada is fully equipped to cater for all of her passengers’ needs, with a 240V drinks refrigerator and Zip hot water service powered by 2 x 5VA inverters.

Fitted with a bow door enables passenger transfers on- and off the beach with ease catering for people with all types of abilities. Fitted with an aft swim platform with steps which fold down to the water level allowing snorkelers to enter and exit the water.  When not in use, the steps fold up to form part of the aft bulwarks.
